Whilst this is a very stylish place, it has a slightly more "pretentious" feel than The Ivy but if classy is what you are looking for then this is the place to go. Bar service can be a little slow but the music is great and there is little pushing and shoving which is nice when you wish to be left alone
Zeta bar is a bar in Sydney that has kept its class. The beautiful interior still appears brand new and the staff know their cocktails... Overlooking the QVB it is the perfect spot to have a cocktail late at night, my picks - espresso martini and earl grey martini mmm
If youre looking to go out for a drink after work down the south end of the city, you tend to be a little restricted to dingy pubs and the odd karaoke bar. Zeta bar, located above at the top of the Hilton hotel on Pitt St provides a better-than-average refuge from the mediocrity of the area, offering a cool rooftop oasis, complete with an impressive cocktail menu.
The crowd is teetering on too cool, and it can be difficult to find a comfortable spot for an after-work drink, but if you can find one then you could happily nestle in for a few hours. A glass of wine doesnt come cheap, with the cheapest being about $9, but the service is (almost) good enough to warrant such a bill. All in all, its worth stopping in for a Friday-night drink if youre in the area, but its not really worth trekking across town for.
Upmarket bar with an outstanding cocktail range - they even serve one with bacon, nuff said. Service is great, which you'd expect in a place like this. Decor is dark and pretty swish. It's great but probably only good for special occasions, it's not really a place you can kick back and relax in, unless of course you're loaded. But for occasional pampering it's fine.
I visited Zeta bar a couple of months ago for a friends birthday. Straight away I was impressed with the decor of the place and the vibe. The awesome jazz band playing at the time also helped add to an already kicking atmosphere. Will definitely be visiting again.
An upmarket bar. I went here for a friends birthday drinks. Nice place for after work drinks and pricey as you would expect. Best to buy a few drinks at the bar as it took a long time to get served. I would be happy to go back.
