We had our wedding for 110 guests at Summer Salt in March 2008. Great service, great food, everything we could have asked for. No one's glass was ever empty and the staff went out of the way to ensure we had an amazing wedding reception. We have been back several times for a romantic dinner and have not been disappointed. Well worth the money.

We had a Saturday lunch at Summer Salt and the view is what makes this restaurant.
The service was OK and overall our party was happy with their meals and desserts. The only criticism that I have is with the Barrumundi and this seems to be a common problem in many restaurants. Barrumundi is an excellent fish and one of my favourites. I often buy and cook it myself and so I know what it should taste like. The fish I had at Summer Salt was mushy and tasteless. I queried the waitress who checked with the Chef and assured me that it was definitely Barrumundi, and if this is the case, then maybe it was frozen, but as usual, I was left dissapointed when ordering this fish. What a shame to an otherwise nice Saturday special lunch.

My partner and I went here mid-week for a romantic anniversary dinner. We were treated really well by the staff, the food was delicious (though quite pricey) and the beach-front views were unbeatable. The chocolate fondant for dessert was amazing! Perfect for a special night out!

We love this restaurant, the quality of food is as good as anything you would get in the centre of Sydney. The prices have increased a little lately so the value for money is not quite as good as it used to be. They still have the set menu which is great value if you are in before 7.30pm on a weekday but the choice is not that extensive. I would recommend this restaurant if you want a nice night out maybe for a special occasion.

The view and atmosphere are brilliant. Service was great, the set menu is great value but seems to be unchanged the 3 times I have dined here. The dessert of chocolate ganache was the absolute highlight and must be eaten to be believed!
