Telephone Sales Executives

We are currently recruiting for some highly talented and motivated people to join our sales team. As a telephone sales executive, your main objective will be to generate revenue growth from telephone sales to national/inter-state prospects with between three and five locations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Make outbound ‘cold’ telephone sales calls to large sized prospects
- Produce high quality written proposals
- Generate referrals within truelocal partners
- Maintain up to date product knowledge and performance statistics

Management Accountant
Due to rapid growth we are seeking to appoint a Management Accountant, who will be the key financial contact for the True Local business. You will have a strong customer focus, ensuring an appropriate level of financial information is provided to key stakeholders allowing proactive management of the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of Head Office (HO) reports.
- Preparation of monthly management reporting packs for Senior Management.
- Provide weekly detailed review and analysis of revenue and operational performance.
- Preparation of monthly traffic reporting and analysis.
- Ensure regular review meetings are conducted with senior management to make sure costs are controlled and revenue targets achieved.
- Preparation of annual budgets in accordance with HO guidelines.
- Participate in regular reviews of processes and procedures.
To be successful in this role, it is expected that you possess extensive management accounting experience, coupled with experience of preparation and presentation of management reporting packs. You would have been involved with and experienced at least one annual budget process as well as being a professionally qualified accountant (CA/CPA/CIMA).
Your ability to manage competing priorities, along with the skill to evaluate information from a commercial viewpoint, coupled with working knowledge of JD Edwards will put you at a distinct advantage.

Sales Channel Advertising Manager

Currently the site features over 1.3 million listings and delivers local results by relevance – rather than paid listings.
The role:
Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a newly created position of Sales Channel Advertising Manager.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a person to truly make a difference in this organisation as they open up new revenue channels within print and online across News Ltd.
Working closely with the business you initially will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and developing sales strategies to target these markets in each of the channels. Once the opportunities have been explored, a key element of the role will be to develop tailored plans and packages for each market segment and make recommendations on pricing and bundling options to maximise revenue. Ongoing reporting will be required ensuring performance and revenue is being met within each of the channels.
Another aspect of the role will be to identify training needs within each of the new sales channels and working in conjunction with the local teams to develop and implement sales training to support each channel.
You:
A self starter, who has proven experience in a sales management background coupled with extensive experience in display and classified print advertising. A natural relationship manager, you will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with the key stakeholders across the entire business. In addition if you have experience within online it will be desirable.

In this newly created position, reporting to the Sales GM and working very closely with the Sales Strategy and Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Management & performance of the call centre and field sales customer acquisition operations.
- Ability to identify opportunities to identify opportunities to acquire new customers within our desired customer segments.
- Maximising revenue contribution to the business through the strategic and tactical execution of the sales plan.
Key Challenges:
- Aggressive revenue growth targets.
- Managing a diverse team of direct sales staff.

To be successful in this position, it is expected that you possess more than 5 years direct sales, coupled with management experience, whether that be gained in a call centre or field sales environment.
