Sold my terrace through Callaghers. I was initially concerned about not using a franchised agency but in hindsight I needn't be. From the outset they seemed to be more eager and work harder for you from beginning to end. They were GENUINELY friendly (ie. not cheesey pleasant) and professionally knowledgeable about all things inner-west. During the sale process they promptly briefed me after EVERY single inspection and provided a written report weekly identifying all the prospective buyers and details of the calls they made to them. Some agents just aren't that transparent because they don't want to do all the work or they get their office juniors to make the calls. Most agents will sell you the the 'possibility' of free newspaper editorial space but Callaghers actually got it for me in two newspapers. In the end we got a great result and we couldn't be more satisfied. It truly was tremendously thorough effort from a very professional team. I couldn't fault them. And just to attest to how thorough they are, they spent a few hours chaperoning in my new buyer when they moved in, well after the sale was complete. Truly nice guys !!!
