Since my last review, leadership has changed, both on the Executive and the Board. After several months of debating, we have decided to pull our kids. Unfortunately, while the head honchos rave community, their actions have yet to convince me. Not a place I'd send my kids to.

This place reminds me of those old Asian restaurants where everything was covered in plastic. My mum would breath hot air on all the cutlery & wipe it down with the 1-ply tissues on the table. Pho Pasteur is much of a muchness really. Their sign "the Eftpos machine is down for today" is worn and tattered (and of course has been there since they opened), so make sure you take your cash. I can't say that this is the best Vietnamese food I've tasted, but it's not the worst. Flavours are a bit dull and service is a bit lax - the guys waiting on us, stood and watch Back to the Future (which was on a GIANT flat screen TV on the wall above us), while we waited on the bill. Atmosphere really lacked, but the meals are delivered to you promptly and are value for money so really, can't complain.

Max Brenner always has me going back for more. Just not on a Saturday evening. The line is out the door and tables are piled with used & dirty plates & cutlery. Our outside table was sticky & covered in cigarette ash. While the service is prompt. But still, put a smile on for the people guys!
