I frequent this store quite often. The store is always very clean and well presented. The staff have always greeted me with a smile and are very pleasant. Well done!

Went here on a Wednesday night. Was happy to support the Tavern. The evening was a mixture of mostly good and some bad so I have scored midway, leaning more on the good side.

First the Good:
The Maitre d' was very lovely throughout the evening.
The wait staff were all efficient. One in particular was bubbly, the other two we encountered definitely weren't.
The restaurant itself was clean and well presented.
There is a good (albeit small) kids room with free old school video games (I happily checked on the kids a number of times and squeezed in a game of Space Invaders). There is also an outdoor playground which you can supervise by way of a television screen. That was handy, thank you.
We ordered garlic breads for entree - you MUST order these. They are scrumptious!

Now the not so good:
One suggestion is that I wish there were more healthy meal options available on the menu.
The meals for our family were ordered together. Unfortunately my meal arrived 20 minutes after my husbands. Husband had the Chicken Parmigiana. Chicken was dry and too much sauce.
I had the Chicken Oscar which is pan seared, oven roasted chicken topped with prawns & avocado. Meal came with a Bearnaise sauce, but I requested this to be on the side. My meal tasted nice until I was half way through and saw the meat was still pink.
Such a shame, I really want to like this place, but primarily for me our main meals let it down.
I will give it some time, and will go back again. But I do think they need to pull up their socks a bit given the competition in a nearby suburb.

My son who is very fussy recently had his hair cut here. Upon walking in my first impression was good. It's a busy little hairdressers, but the staff keep the store clean and tidy. We were greeted quickly and the staff were friendly. Big ticks in my book.
Prices are good. And to top it off, my son was happy with his haircut. We'll be back. Well done!!
