Cute and small cafe just off queen st. Inexpensive and big portions, great bread. Open for breakfast and lunch but close up before you can get an afternoon coffee or late lunch. Bit annoying they only take cash.

Family run local deli and cafe. Eat in and takeaway. They have a good selection of pre-made rolls and bagels with fresh meats (ham, salami, prosciutto etc) and cheese which they can toast and add other fresh ingredients like rocket. They also have gelato and fresh pastries like chocolate croissants which they warm up slightly so the chocolate melts in your mouth with the first bite. Very friendly couple run the place and they're more than happy to go beyond the menu and make you something different or add something extra to suit your preference.

Upstairs Darlo Bar is a great area to meet up with friends. My friend had her birthday drinks here and they reserved her area with a birthday balloon, it was a nice touch. They have a good cocktail menu and when I asked the bartender what he recommended, he asked about my taste preference and offered to make one up with fresh ingredients - it was delicious!
