I thought I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, hence I gave it bakery a shot and ordered a pastie.

After taking a few bites of my veg pastie, I knew I won't be going back there in a hurry. It's a weird veg combination for a pastie filling and it was too salty.

Great little shop, jammed with lots of neat kitchenware. Although they are mostly quite expensive, they're of good quality.

Love their mugs and aprons.

It's a shop full of great bargains when there's a sale.

Neat little shop tucked inside the Mandarin Centre, it stocks more Asian goodies than you think. Prices are ok and staff are really friendly.

Will definitely shop there when I'm in the area.

Glad to see Thai cooks in the kitchen busying, my lunch is once again excellent!

The waitress even remembers how much I enjoy my meal with fresh red chilli! Just great!

Not the most efficient team given a member made 3 mistakes in one transaction, I have had the misfortune of missing 3 large serves of chips and condiments when I arrive home.

So if you're heading this way for takeaway, it'd be wise to check your goods before leaving.

Otherwise, the food is ok.

A rather ordinary looking shop front on Frenchs Forest Road, this bakery is buzzing!

The display cases are filled with cakes and pastries of all sorts, the variety is extensive.

Right now I can't wait to recommend their choc chip muffin, hedgehog slice and marbled mud cake! Thumbs up!!!!!!

It is a shame that I still have not yet had a positive experience with this Coles outlet. I bought some marinated chicken parts and only to find them full of feathers!!!

This shop is almost always busy. Shelves are installed closely which makes browsing or passing thru almost impossible. Besides that, this chemist has virtually everything I need at good prices.

Perfumes especially are fabulous when they're discounted.

Not my preferred supermarket. It's a little small and not very well stocked. I noticed that Woolworths supermarkets do not stock their shelves uniformly as some outlets carry more products than others. It's a tedium having to travel to another location for something trivial.

This branch has limited asian grocery.

This shop doesn't look appealing back and front but it stocks lots of goodies at reasonable prices.

I often buy my asian cooking needs here whether it is for a curry or dessert.

Shop owner is friendly and helpful, often generous too. Great little shop!
