I recently went to Sydney eyelashes four days before my wedding in January and was very disapointed with the results. I had a half set of lashes (price was $165 plus GST) and an eyelash tint, so the full price was $220 which I did think was expensive! As the price was much more than other salons I was expecting perfection. After the appointment one of my eyes looked good, but the other looked wonky with most of the lashes not fanning out nicely. When it came to my wedding day my makeup artist also had to use extra false lashes to fill the gaps in my extensions, as she said they were sparce. My sister (who was my maid of honour) also had a half set of lashes at another salon in Randwick for only $80 (less than half what I paid) and she had lots more extensions than mine and didn't need any infill false lashes! My wedding makeup artist who used to own a beauty salon and do eyelash extensions herself, was shocked at the price I paid and said I had been completely ripped off...
I have been Ciao Bella a few times and they did two my spray tans for my both wedding and honeymoon which I was nervous about (my first spray tans) but the results were great. They seem very professional, the girls are lovely and they gave me good advice also on what spray tan to have and applied it evenly. I had Techno Tan camamel (which is a light colour) and the results were fab on a pale skin like mine! I don't find them expensive either, I will be going back.
I have been to Dolce Vita a few times for facials and spray tans and live locally. I have found the staffs that work there to be really nice, but the management is very rude on the phone and in person and does treatments and spray tans as well, so be careful who you get if you want a nice experience. The shop at the front is nice, but the treatment rooms are quite tired for the cost of the facials etc.
