What a hip kinda place this is. Went recently for dinner and enjoyed the beef burrito with a beer. The place was pumping so service at the counter was a bit slow but once the order was it the kitchen was up to speed and everything arrive pretty quickly. Service was very casual but matched the style of the place.

Thoroughly enjoyed Chiswick. On a recent rainy Sunday we were part of a large group. Whilst our table wasn't ready at the assigned time all was quickly forgotten by a few glasses of champagne. The place was super busy and whilst there is a lot of noise they've done a good job with insulation - so you can still hear your guests across the table.

The setting is Hampton's meets Paddington/Surry Hills. Lots of white with a smart casual feel but with local customers and a few edgy people thrown in. The hit over lunch was the Lamb - its rather large and will feed 3 people easily.

Overall Chiswick is a great restaurant. The service was mostly attentive (many times we had to fill our own wine glasses, but not a big drama). Would recommend for lunch any day.

What a gem this place is. Usually restaurants out of town can be hit and miss but La Petanque at Red Hill was terrific. I thoroughly enjoyed the crispy pork belly and my friend was a huge fan of the duck. Dessert for me wasn't a strong point (strawberry minestrone) with the strawberries being too hard and lacking taste - however everyone else at the table loved their choice. It was great to have first class service from some native French waiters too. Overall a great choice and well above my expectations on the day.
