Check out this place. It needs to be on your go-to list. On an unplanned night out I stopped in with a friend to feed a man-size hunger and a thirsty soul. From the moment we arrived we felt like we were at a well mannered friends home - we got personal service like I've never experienced in Sydney. Food is crazy good and should win awards. And an amazing array of drink selections expertly crafted.
I'm still thinking about how good it all was the day after.
If you haven't been to Stanley street in a while, or you normally just go to the same places, please consider this a fantastic place to eat, drink, relax, socialise with friends. Love it. All thumbs up on this one.

A very good range of most pet stuffs. The food section is quite large and stocks most brands you'd be after. Particularly good place to find the larger more economical sizes of dog food. There's also a very extensive fridge/freezer section that stocks fresh and prepared foods. (snake owners can buy mice here - which looked creepy stocked in the freezer next to the roo meat).
Most pleasantly I had a really positive experience with some help and good natured fun with a staff member today. She made my day with some wisecracks and help re pricing and correct points attribution for my membership.
There are mysteriously two pet barns quite close to each other in Alexandria. This is the better of the two. It has a bigger range. As with other Pet Barn locations, you can bring your leashed dog in with you shopping. Dogs go a little nuts while browsing the snacks and treats section. All those pigs ears and rawhide must be tempting.

A relaxed, yet professional and attentive service. I like the vibe here. It gently hums with satisfied diners. Had a very tasty lamb fettuccine ragu that was a bit more al-dente then what I'm used to. A friend who'd been the week before also felt it was "more" al-dente than what most restaurants around Sydney serve. It was good though. Not complaining at all. Complimented with a simple radicchio salad side.
Simple fresh ingredients all served quickly and with a smile. Big thumbs up.

If you've been to the other Grill'd stores, you'll know the food - and it's pretty consistent between the locations. Not sure if it's whether this store is new or not, but, the staff are super friendly and pleasant.
I reckon the serve of chips are bigger here too. I may be imagining that though. ;)

A great range of German baked goods. Breads, pastries, rolls, and sandwiches. I specifically went for the pretzels which was fresh and tasty. Big bits of course salt on the outside to set off the chewy dough pretzel. Conveniently located in the QVB - entry is via the Town Hall end on the Lower Ground floor.
Very friendly staff. There is seating out the front of their store to sit and eat your spoils.

It was a little frustrating to try and call and arrange a pickup order - the phone constantly engaged. I guess because I'd heard good things that I persevered and decided to jump in the car anyway. I mean, if the phone is "off the hook", it must be good right?
First time experience. Great. Love it. The food is amazing. Dumplings are fresh, and impressively sized servings. Fresh ingredients that leave you wanting more. Really enjoyed the peking duck pancakes as well.
The service instore was a little flaky from the pickup point of view. But, this is because they were run off their feet busy. That's actually good in my book. Rather a busy place, than not. And the food didn't disappoint so I would come back again.
It's a tiny place with very limited seating. But, the chaotic squeezy space works. Will totally be back with crew to gorge on dumplings again.

The renowned "Reuben" sandwich was an ok lunch time meal prepared and served fresh on order. The pastrami, sauerkraut, etc was purported by friends to be one of the best combo's I'd tasted in a sandwich for ages - and while it was pleasant enough - there was nothing mind blowing going on here for me.
The toasted bread was a bit underwhelming and was actually a little cold and barely perceptibly toasted. A side of fries were also uninspired, luke-warm and a little flaccid.
As a food court eating experience excites me little anyway, I doubt I'll be back. That with the big ticket prices.

Really recommend the service these guys provide. Restaurant coverage is expansive, ordering is easy online, they take credit cards, you get confirmation of order via sms and email. Really an all round good experience for me. Well done. They'e made the home ordering and delivery processes much simpler and have brought a consistent interface to the user for many different restaurants. Order your next delivery/pcikup meal from your favourite restaurant online from these guys. Well done.
