Hi my name is Shae, and I'm addicted to Mexican. Introduced to the magnificence of this cuisine at a very young age, I have always searched for GOOD Mexican. Have been meaning to check out FFSistas for too long and finally got there... Overall result, it was okay. The service was pretty spot on, I can't fault that at all.
We sat out on the tight balcony upstairs, the middle table is sort of squashed between the other two tables and the wall. I wouldn't recommend it, we missed out on the ambiance I think.
We ordered the trio of dips, and outed one of them to get the queso in. Huge fan of chili con queso dip, this wasn't one of the best I've had. However saying that, we got the the Pipian: Mexican pesto made with pumpkin seeds and fresh green chile. One of the most delicious dips I've ever had. Don't miss this.
We had the enchildas and the fajitas. The fajitas were cooked to perfection, I had the snapper - however the condiments were extremely scarce, in fact have never seen them so scarce. Definitely requires more. Next time I'd just ask for more!
Keen to get back and try some of the other dishes, for comparison.

This could very well be my new favourite. After reading their book and understanding how far they've come, it was really nice to check out their latest chapter. It also probably helped that Luke himself was there, working the room and showing us the new set up! The service was exceptional, the decor is brilliant, the whole place is fitted out for 'share style' from the menus to the tables. There are a few private tables but they've also adopted the communal eating concept, which provides a fantastic vibe but if you're looking for a quieter venue for a first date or similar then perhaps opt for the bar at the back (across from Love Tilly Devine), bar menu and cocktail list. Every dish was very tasty and so fresh, plan and book ahead in advance as this is the new hot spot and rumour has it they are booked out a month ahead at least for Saturdays at the moment.

What a cute little place, I'm rather disappointed I haven't ventured here before! The wooden tables and friendly service makes the whole experience very cosy, as if you were at a friends house for dinner. I absolutely loved it!
We were welcomed with complimentary soup, followed by an assortment of salumi and delicious breads. I had the prawn risotto as main, which was very good - a tiny bit heavy for lunch but great value for money. I had food envy for every other dish on the table and wish I had more room to try the desserts. The service is exceptional, and I now plan to frequent here!
