My friend and I ate at this cafe. We ordered bacon and eggs on toast and was not completely satisfied. The fried eggs were not cooked right through, we did not receive much bacon on our plates. It was very busy and we had to wait a little while to get our food. The banana bread was quite expensive, we paid $6.50 which is well above average for Banana bread.
This place entices you to come in. It looks cosy, warm, the staff are very friendly but the food was terrible! It was upsetting because I expected a good feed. It took them 45 mins to bring out our entrees, not generous with the servings at all and the food was very bland. I ordered Mediterranean prawns with saffron rice - the prawns were over cooked, the rice had no traces of saffron and the sauce wasn't cooked enough.
I noticed the chefs were in fact teens or kids in their early 20's who probably had no idea on how to cook cultured food. One recommendation for the owner; get a proper chef!
