Takeaways Kangaroo Point, QLDAfter being told by a local that Spizzico was a good place to eat, I was really disappointed. A group of us went after the football and I can only assume they are cashing in on the footy crowd by serving overpriced gluggy pasta. My home made pasta with meat sauce was $26 - it was not very nice and my friends said their meals were very average. We were seated prompted and served quickly however the poor quality of the meals means I won't be going back.
Electricians Earlwood, NSWVery pleased with GES. I had one of those small annoying jobs that is difficult to get a tradesman to come for. They returned my call within a hour, then we arranged a time. Joe arrived on time (big plus for this!). He was courteous and prompt, explained everything to me. I have already recommended GES to a friend and will use them again.
Zoos Mosman, NSWA friend and I participated in the Roar and Snore program one Friday night then we stayed at the zoo for most of the Saturday. The zoo itself is set in picturesque surroundings on the best harbor in the world. The gardens are divine and on a hot day there is lots of shade as you wander around the zoo. The zoo is quite hilly so wear good walking shoes. Prices of food & drinks were reasonable; the coffee and sandwich I had were very good. As for the Roar and Snore program - it is expensive, but is one of those once in a lifetime things. It was good - the views, sunset, sunrise, location are all first class. Food, drinks (including alcohol was plentiful and good quality). The only issue I had was - while you may think your kids are wonderful; others may not. Several of the children in attendance were pushy and loud; and their parents did nothing about it - very disappointing considering the amount it cost per person. But I would recommend the experience.
