I enjoy being out and about, nature and taking as many holidays as possible. I love shopping and grabbing a good bargain, sipping a good latte and generally being on the move. I love having the opportunity to review all my favourite businesses and the few not so nice, and hope that my reviews are useful to other people.

Having only recently relocated to the area it is a pleasure to discover Robina Town Centre is my new local. Having undergone an amazing refurbishment the modern layout and easy to navigate levels will have you coming back again and again. It truly is the place where you can do all your shopping, or window shopping ;)
From the outside its modern architecture and waterways make for a pleasant change from other shopping centres, it is built around the bus terminals and train station to assist with easy transport options and offers heaps of parking and easy to navigate roads in and out for regular shoppers.
A wonderful selection of shops from your big chains such as Woolworths, Big W and Kmart, Priceline and JB Hi-Fi to your more boutique style stores such as Guess, Cue and Veronika Maine. There are not many shopping centres where you he David Jones, Myer, Kmart and Big W under the one roof.
For the movie buff, there is Event Cinemas with Gold Class and a substantial food court and plenty cafés to satisfy your hunger pains.
Definitely one to check out if you are in the area.
Looking for a bbq, a new fridge or a succulent for the backyard? Look no further than the newly established Masters at Robina. The warehouse is brand new and filled with an enormous range from homewares to hardware.
The warehouse style layout is organised and provides adequate signage so you can find navigate your way around. I was shocked at just how much they stock. You can renovate your kitchen or bathroom utilizing the design layouts on show, purchase a new designer fridge or purchase your own DIY built in wardrobe.
For the green thumb of the family, there is a nice selection of plants, waterfalls for your zen garden and equipment which will make you the envy of your neighbours. Top it off with a brand new bbq and day bed and you will have the whole family smiling.
Easy to get to location off Christine Ave, plenty of parking and friendly service.
Unfortunately I did find some of the prices to be a little higher than competitors, particularly on household storage items so best to do your research beforehand.
Having driven up to Tambourine Mountains for a sightsee all too soon our stomachs were a grumbling and a hearty meal is what it craves. We stopped at the Bavarian, which captures your attention with its traditional decor and European influenced design.
The restaurant itself has been carved out well and offers a number of photo opportunities with the family. From the time you are seated everything about this restaurant is German. From the traditional clothing the waitresses wear, to the beers and the sauerkraut.
We ordered a round of 550ml ales which went down lovely with our massive pretzel to share. Had I known that would have filled the spot I would have held back from ordering goulash which came out being much smaller than the share platter we had expected and lacked the traditional goulash flavour I am accustomed to.
The lack of air conditioning will have you sweltering on a hot day so best to sit outside or by the large open windows if you can. Friendly and attentive customer service and ample parking onsite.
Overall, I was happy we tried it out as it was something different to add to the list however not quite what i was expecting for the high prices. Next time I will stick with my beer and pretzel.
Located in the picturesque little Swan Lane of Mudgeeraba, it does make for quite a pleasant shopping experience. The location is just stunning and well worth a look.
The produce, meat and groceries are fresh and very inviting to pick from the shelves but the gripe I have with this woolies are the prices. Having shopped at alternatives throughout the area I have found this store to be the most unreasonably overpriced. Maybe its the area but it seems to me a relatively older generation shop here (pensioners, retirees) so one would think woolies would cater to the demographic and at least offer similar specials as its surrounding stores.
Friendly customer service, nice layout throughout the store and not bad if dropping in for a few items but not one i would use for my large shop.
A great little store for the locals. Despite its quaint size they offer a variety of wine, pre-mixes, spirits and beers for all your party needs. The best part; I like that there is no discrepancy between stores regarding weekly specials.
Very friendly customer service, plenty of parking, easy to get to location straight from the lights and overall a pleasant shopping experience.
Well, i can happily say that I have fallen in lice with this little gem. Overlooking the Marina, blink and you could miss Klein's. During the day it is a cafe where you can sit and enjoy breakfast, brunch or dinner out by the water or inside where you can enjoy a cooldown.
The retro design booths, bar area and outdoor patio are very warm and inviting and the service spot on and friendly.
Each day offers a new set of specials especially the $5 breakfast filled with a plateful of bacon, eggs, toast, tomato and hash brown (plenty for one person) and at $5 BARGAIN! If you choose to add a coffee it will raise the price but their caps are well worth it.
On weekends they offer live entertainment, Mexican Wednesdays and bar facilities and sports screens for the eager punter.
Overall a great, casual place in a lovely, peaceful area and just the spot for a weekend breakfast or Saturday night drink with ample free parking in the marina complex and most importantly, good food.
What i particularly liked about this venue is its chilled back atmosphere and live music.
Great for after work drinks or a catchup with friends, this place really looks after its locals. It can get a bit crowded on weekends so best to nominate a mate to get down there early on Friday nights.
Vietnamese rolls have been a solid fav of mine for a long time but Toorak Rd really nail with Master Roll. Beautifully fresh crunchy rolls loaded with your Baah-Min favourites, mine being the chicken but there are plenty others to choose from with the same fresh taste. Highly recommend to satisfy a craving.
This truly has to be the BEST pizzeria I have tried. The pizzas are huge and great value with generous toppings including the incredible seafood and meat lovers selections. Fresh bases with a smokehouse flavour throughout. Yummm!!!
These guys really love their job with enthusiasm and friendly service offered each and every time.
South Yarra truly does offer great food; even the takeaway.
Who doesn't love Oportos chips. Yum!!! The chapel street outlet is not only too convenient (haha) but definitely of a high quality (thanks again to the location).
Prices are no different to your other outlets but the ingredients are fresh and cooked to order, the service efficient and friendly and the range of chicken burgers (well... Yum!)
Did I mention the chips?? The jumbo is the best value for chips and won't disappoint if sharing.
When residing in Melbourne I use this online ordering system quite a few times. The website is easy to navigate to order within your local area. The deliveries on time and most times even earlier than estimated and usually without issue. For the rare occurrence where there are issues the businesses are happy to resolve either with redelivery or a discount.
These online ordering sites have taken takeaway to a whole new level of convenience ;)
If you are looking for a professional firm with a corporate edge, look no further than the team at Brand Partners. Dedicated solicitors ready to tackle a matter with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
With a wide network of local and interstate contacts, this firm can assist with your legal enquiries.
A firm that I would highly recommend for all your legal needs. If you are thinking of selling or buying your first home contact the property team. Commercial contracts, litigation, estate planning, contact the team and they will be able to help you with your needs.
From senior management down this firm offer a high level of professionalism and experience in a range of fields of law. You will not be disappointed with the service.
This little gem came highly recommended from a friend who frequents the area. Great place to grab a freshly brewed latte, breakfast wrap and take in some people watching.
Nice selection on the menu but not too overdone to rattle the mind. I love that they use fresh ingredients and offer a range of healthy items as well as your cheeky all day breakfast. The quick service is very friendly and efficient and will not disappoint.
Nice location perfect for the regular commute or just because, good prices and great food.
I truly am a sucker for the fresh aroma of baked items. If you get in early you are sure to score the freshest of rolls and cakes still warm and fresh from the oven.
The pull apart breads make for a delightful side for any occasion and with the wide selection of rolls to choose from - all perfect for that Saturday afternoon bbq.
Friendly, local service. Warm village atmosphere with plenty of parking and plenty of surrounding retailers to cater to all your shopping needs.
Nothing better than your order coming out freshly cooked and exactly as you ordered. The wait time is a little long and the prices slightly higher than your local supermarket, but oh so tasty. A fresh whole chicken teamed with signature sides such as gravy (which actually tastes like proper roast gravy), thick cut chips and desserts. Winning!!
Friendly service , eftpos facilities, drive-thru and plenty of parking within the village complex.
A nice alternative to the other large chains. With pizzas starting from a low $13.95 and a convenient place to pickup from, you can't go wrong for a quick pizza fix. Not quite gourmet but still well worth the money, particularly the the Capers Collection and Black Label range.
These guys even have the kiddliwinks covered with a specially designed kids menu to keep them smiling.
Plenty of traditional sides and desserts to top off your deal and all within a reasonable budget. Team it with a tall glass of wine and it makes for a relaxing night on the couch.
A good stopover for a fuel top up when roadtripping from Sydney. Reasonable price for a fuelstop off the highway (given the monopoly) and offering the entire range of fuel options.
Friendly service offered by most Star marts I have found but no matter what hour of the day. Also offering plenty of quick food options such as Angus Mrs Mac pies and sausage rolls and strong coffee for that true truckstop experience.
Not your regular takeaway but definitely a new favourite. Mmmm teriyaki chicken. Also offering popular favs such as satay and pad thai. Convenient location and perfect at nights for a casual catchup.
Reasonable prices for takeaway these days which like everything seems to be going up these days.
This surely is the best place in Sydney to send your partner for a haircut. Not only is it a trendy new place in close proximity to the working district. Not only are the staff awesome and know hoe to customise a cut to the customer's preferred style also providing a beer, good opening hours and wait for it - playstation!
If you have problems getting your other half to the barber, suggest this place; they will love it.
