  • The Charming Squire

    Restaurants South Brisbane, Qld
Enjoyed a great lunch on a wet Brissy day when heading to the Theatre in the evening.
Thought we'd spend a day wandering between Southbank and GOMA and settled on the Charming Squire for lunch and a glass of wine.
I enjoyed my steak and mushroom sauce, chips and salad
Service was fairly attentive and prices good. Was lots of seating when we'd arrived but it fills up quickly.
  • Campos Coffee

    Cafes Newstead, QLD
Enjoyed a lovely morning coffee over a work session at Campos.
There's plenty of parking at the Gasworks and the cafe was easy to find.
Breakfast on offer was pretty much carbs to take away so not much choice for those preferring protein.
Having said that, the blueberry danish I had with my soy chai latte was great.
  • The Grace Sydney

    Hotels Sydney, NSW
Recently enjoyed a lovely two night stay at the Grace Hotel in the heart of town.
There's a great history wall outlining the importance of the building to the City since it's opening in the 1930's as a Grace Brothers store. Room was spacious and comfortable. there's daily limited free wifi and it's walking distance to lots of bars, restaurants and all the City has to offer.
Overnight parking was $45 on site.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Had a lovely stay.

  • This is a great little spot in Mudgeeraba and quite popular with the locals. The mocha and cuppacino we ordered were lovely and the staff are really friendly. There's indoor and outdoor seating, covered outdoor and large table options inside. The local art on the walls is great - would definitely go again and make a local haunt.
