Karen McLeod and her team at Ethical Investment Advisers aim to not only secure the future of your financial goals, but does so in a green and ethical way, by ensuring funds are invested in socially and environmentally responsible ways to ensure the best outcome for both client, community and climate.
Brad and the team at Key Markets International (KMI), allowed me to pursue my goals and aspirations by introducing to me a state-of-the-art product in financial investments called, 'EquitySmart'. EquitySmart is a must have for anyone needing to ensure they have a worry-free retirement and a stable financial base!
Brent Johnstone is a very professional and ethical carpenter. His personal values are put into his work ethic and it is evident in the fantastic work he does. His advice is thorough and his labourers and contractors always work with professionalism and respect - which are rare amongst Gold Coast tradespeople.
These fellas are awesome. Why buy brand new when you can buy second hand for less than half the price of new?!!! I picked up two bathroom sinks for $50 each and they were never used and only their boxes where damaged! They have kitchens, tools, doors, lobby boy trolley things, stairs, particleboard, flooring, everything!!!!
A great range of sporting goods and items, from fishing to boxing to ballsports and yoga stuff! My recent purchase was a couple of Gilbert rugby balls, a Gilbert kicking tee and a beach cricket set, and it was just over $110!
IKEA Logan is fantastic. The customer service here is great and helpful and the Nordic designs are fabulous!! If you are on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane or Logan or Ipswich, buy your furniture here! They support ethical causes as well! Parking is a problem, so ensure to get there early to beat the masses if you go on a weekend!!
Maria and the team at Coaching With Substance aim at a coaching based recovery out of drug and alcohol addiction. It is a great non for profit on the Gold Coast that has won awards and has had coverage in the media for their great work. I recommend anyone who needs help to be coached, not counselled.
I took in a Sony Xperia Z (waterproof phone) to get the screen replaced. They did a shonky job and the LED light would spill out from under the screen and you could clearly see that they hadn't sealed it properly. $230 later I have a water damaged phone. The phone became non waterproof after they replaced the screen with an ingenuine part and didn't seal it properly. They said Sony Xperias are only water resistant, when Sony themselves say they are waterproof, and clearly my phone was waterproof as I could wet it and sit it in water for minutes on end, and to be able to wipe the phone dry and keep using it. They have held my phone now for 3 weeks and still have my $230 and are refusing to refund me and are saying they cannot fix the water damaged phone - they even offered me to take the phone as is, after pulling it apart and leaving it in several pieces in a takeaway container. DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE.
