Dimitri Hadji, along with their partner company, Saved by the Bell Pty Ltd, are the faces behind Fonzarelli’s; an American inspired 50’s & 60’s bar with sensational vibes, food and booze. We had a quick chat to hear about his local story:
Tell us a little about your business story and how Fonzarelli’s started?
Fonzarelli’s started in the pipeline around 3 years ago when 3 close friends began brain storming and had the same dream … a bar. The business is themed around the 50’s & 60’s era with a splash of 70’s , this means music, decor & food all come together. It’s an experience more than just a bar or eatery & loosely based around Happy Days the TV show.
What is your business famous for?
Our signature dish would definitely have to be the St Louis ribs & our House Cocktails especially the MF Chichi. Then you obviously can’t go past the music.
What do you love most about having a business in Surry Hills?
The diversity in the crowd & the unique businesses in the area.
What is your fave local business in the area?

What’s one quirky fact about your business?
Ketchup was used as a medicine back in the 1930’s, so we developed our own 1950’s version with great healing power for our burgers.
