Gotta love a good self-explanatory café. A Bite To Eat, A Drink As Well fully delivers on both of its eponymous promises, and does so within a pleasantly jumbled, quirky and chilled-out environment. It’s also perfect for for a cheese-laden breakfast, serving up a lovely morsel called ‘The Gouda Life’. That’s a gouda toastie with a fried egg, complete with your choice of barbeque pork or beans.
“Expect a mish-mash of furniture and a laidback attitude to customer service. If you can handle waiting a little longer and aren’t in a rush this cafe is worth it. Not your usual cafe fodder it offers plenty of interesting dishes, catering to vegetarians too. Plenty of kitsch decor add to the relaxed mood.” – Colsie
The Three Cheese Mac n Cheese at Smoque is a thing of true beauty, served piping hot and packing a proper cheesy punch. It also complements the meaty mains with true aplomb. So if you love cheese but also happen to be partial to hearty, hickory-smoked American feasts, then Smoque is pretty much the best place ever.

It’s cheesy pizza time! Proper, wood-fired Italian pizza to be precise, dripping with a multitude of fresh toppings. Tuscany-born maestro Silvio Miceli is the man behind it all, describing his work as an “art form”, an “obsession” and a “passion”. Naturally, the ‘Quattro Formaggio’ is the way to go, with mozzarella, gorgonzola, provolone and shaved pecorino. Fantastic!
“Cracking Pizza – Beautifully crafted. The pizza and Beer is true Italian, absolute winner.” – browna1
