With delicious as an understatement, 16 of Brisbane’s Local Stars began their night at the beautifully appointed Buffalo Bar and got settled in with some of their most famous cocktails. As the group sipped on espresso martini’s and their famous ‘old fashioned’ the night began. Shortly after everyone’s arrival, in came the appetisers for the evening. The tables flooded with buffalo wings, salt & pepper calamari and the chef’s special beef brisket with deep fried hollandaise. After a few more drinks and an attempt to not fill ourselves up for the main event, the team left and began the much needed walk to the next secret location.
We took a short stroll towards Eagle Street Pier, the team nestled in to Brisbane’s most famous steakhouse, Cha Cha Char. Upon arrival the guests were seated with a menu including an array of options for both the main course and dessert. From crocodile ravioli to market fish of the day, the choices were endless; this didn’t stop almost all of our stars choosing the house specialty… the wagyu steak!
The wine was flowing as much as the conversation as the night continued on as a well-deserved break from our hardworking local stars. With new friendships formed and a chocolate fondant as the icing on the cake, the only foreseeable problem was how is the True Local team going to top this one on their next event? Stay Tuned!
