We promise you’ll be feeling very cultured at the end of the day.

The Dandenong Ranges

You haven’t felt the true beauty of Victoria until you’ve walked the Sherbrooke Forest Walk, just one of the many wonders of the Dandenong Ranges. It’s under an hour from Melbourne, and you can also stop by the tea house/gallery/gift shop of Gazebo Gardens, hitch a ride on ol’ Puffing Billy, and say hi to some adorable koalas and joeys at Healesville Sanctuary.

Mornington Peninsula

With creamy sands, cerulean waters and enough culture to fill a thousand travel guides, this place is a tranquil paradise steeped in history. Browse the Red Hill Markets, saddle up for Gunnamatta Trail Rides and while away the day at Ashcombe Maze and Lavender Gardens, before finishing up with a heavenly dip in the Peninsula Hot Springs.

Phillip Island

This wildlife haven is the proud home of Philip Island National Park, where over 150 species of bird live their feathery lives in protected peace. The sunset penguin parade is a must see, and ditto goes for The Nobbies and Seal Rocks. We can’t forget Rusty Water Brewery Restaurant either, for handcrafted ales and food by internationally trained chefs.

Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges

A full day of rustic joy awaits you at the Macedon Ranges! We’ll begin with a bite of Lucini’s pasta at the Old Macaroni Factory, followed by a jaunt to Hepburn Springs, where the mineral-heavy waters fuel both the wildflowers and the blissful Bathhouse & Spa. Finally, it’s off to the Lake House, one of the finest restaurants around, for some true slow-cooked excellence.
