Festivale 2016

This one’s for all you food lovers, wine connoisseurs, beer aficionados, or fans of all of the above. Yes, Festivale 2016 has it all this February in beautiful Tassie, with a massive three-day festival designed to show off the best food, wine, beer, arts and entertainment that the state has to offer (and my does Hobart have a lot to offer). Bring the friends and family and join over 35 thousand other festival-goers at the historic City Park who will be enjoying the sweet sounds of Kate Ceberano, Wendy Matthews and a whole host of other Aussie talents. ESK BeerFest

There’s nothing better than a cheeky bevvie on a warm Aussie summer evening, and that’s exactly what the ESK BeerFest is all about. Located right outside the iconic James Boags Brewery in Launceston, all you craft beer and cider lovers will be treated to an absolute smorgasbord of over 250 beautifully crafted drinks from a range of local, national and international brewers. Accompanying the bevvies will be a bunch of beer and food master classes, brewer demonstrations, live music and comedy, and (of course) a wide variety of local gourmet foods to match. Raw Challenge Baskerville

Get down and dirty this February with an obstacle course race to remember. Raw Challenge Baskerville is Tasmania’s biggest and best obstacle mud run, featuring over 30 crazy obstacles that’ll test the abilities of even the toughest competitors out there. It’s truly a once-in-a-lifetime challenge for the whole family, as you’ll crawl through muddy tunnels, climb giant muddy walls and slide down steep muddy slides over a muddy 8km course.
