To celebrate the diversity of Perth’s LGBTIQ community, FAIRDAY is an award-winning community event that is one of the largest to be held at the picturesque Hyde Park this February. There’s be heaps of market stalls and food stalls for you to fill your bellies, or alternatively bring your own picnic basket and rug and enjoy the entertainment with your very own feast – feel free to BYO drinks too! PIAF – 2016 Perth International Arts Festival

It’s time to get all cultured and fancy at PIAF, the 2016 Perth International Arts Festival. Spanning over 18 different venues across Perth, PIAF is all about bringing energy, ideas and arts to the city by showcasing the spectacular works of leading artists and thinkers from Australia and around the world. From classical music to contemporary theatre to skateboarding and cabaret, the Festival is truly an eclectic mix of art and performance from all different genres. Find out more


St Jerome’s Laneway Festival

Date: 14 February
Location: West End and Esplanade Reserve, Fremantle

St Jerome’s Laneway Festival is Australia’s best annual hipster-approved music festival that promises to rock your socks off for a day of musical madness, and this year is no different. This year’s line-up is full of heavy hitters from electronica, punk, pop, hip-hop and a whole range of other genres, including names from Australia and abroad such as Grimes, Purity Ring, The Internet, The Smith Street Band and Violent Soho, just to name a few. So come along in your hippest, trendiest apparel and join the flocks of music-lovers jamming to over 30 artists over four stages. Find out more


Enchanted Garden Festival

Fonty’s Pool, Manjimup

Music! Camping! The great outdoors! Come one, come all to this super special event set in the heart of the South West’s beautifully picturesque Southern Forest for three days of camping, outdoor fun and (of course) amazing music. By day, you’ll have the chance to swim in beautiful fresh spring water, hang out in the serene green forest, fill your tummies at some of the many delicious food trucks, and join in on the various fun and games that’ll be on offer. At night, it’s time to soak in the musical talents of the likes of Hayden James, Shockone, Slumberjack, Basenji and other amazing Australian and international acts. Find out more
