Outshining even the waterfront views, succulent steaks, awesome staff and live sports screenings, the good old Lighty’s happy hour is the stuff that legends are made of. 5pm signals the start of something special here, with house wines, spirits and all tap beers and ciders available for a mere five bucks each. This is happy hour done right, and you’d be mad not to check it out.
“Recently celebrated a friends birthday lunch here. My family, especially the kids were very impressed. The staff were wonderful, kids menu, coloring in sets & free ice creams made the lunch so enjoyable for the adults! The menu is fantastic, pub food at a great level. Would recommend to anyone.” – Nharris52
We could all use a little refuelling by the time Wednesday rolls around (especially if we’ve enjoyed Monday and Tuesday’s happy hours a bit too much), and Little Brooklyn offers the perfect solution. We can safely say that this popular Kingston haunt lays claim to Canberra’s greatest chicken wings deal, and that’s not an honour we bestow lightly! A whole kilo for only $15 is hard to argue with, after all…

Whether you swing by for a few quick drinks or settle in for a mighty feast of contemporary Italian goodness, the fine folks at Provini are always happy to see you. The pizzas are famously delicious (especially the prawn and chilli one), and the happy hour offer is equally agreeable. From 4-6pm, you can get house wines, basic spirits and tap beers for a paltry $5. Just remember, don’t tell Nonna…
