The Gatsby Ball

Indulge Coffee and Chocolate Expo

Coffee and chocolate together? Shut up and take our money! Last year’s event was so popular that most stalls were sold out by midday. But don’t worry, this year is promising to be even bigger and better with stalls showcasing indulgent chocolates and artisanal coffee from local producers and from around the world. Whether it’s chocolate-coated rhubarb from Tassie, some decadent gelato from local ice-cream legends Frugii, or a caffeine hit from locally hand-crafted cold brew coffee lords Bellerophon Cold Brew, there’s something for all tastes here. Find out more


Canberrang Swing Dancing Festival

Date: 28-31 July
Location: Various locations

It might be cold outside, but things are really heating up in Barton for one of Australia’s longest running and most beloved swing dancing festivals. Events are running over the full four days around the city in a unique blend of 1930s jazz-era Manhattan sophistication and a celebration of the paranormal and horror themes. The creepy-meets-vintage festival will have over 30 hours of social dancing across a variety of incredible venues, as well as live bands, DJs, and late night spots to get your jive on. Find out more
