The stunning Western Australian coastline forms the perfect backdrop, so head down and get ready to soar.
Ever dreamed of whizzing down cliffs like some sort of Spider-Man? Well, then you may as well join Adventure Out Australia for a bit of abseiling. It’s based at Boya Quarry, and the skilled instructors will guide you through three different descents throughout the day (14, 25 and 54 metres). It’s an exhilarating ride, and you’ll be very proud of yourself once it’s over. Maybe a bit stiff and sore, but mostly proud.

There’s nothing better than getting out on the water during summer – but if you’re looking for something a bit more laid-back than surfing and kitesurfing, paddle boarding might be for you. Stand Up Paddle Sports has everything you need to get started, whether you’re a wind-battered pro or a fresh-faced rookie stepping onto your first board. The teachers are some of Perth’s very best paddlers, and they’ll make sure you’re well looked after.
