Kodomo No Hi Japanese Festival

But if you’d like to try the real thing, you should head down to the Kodomo No Hi Japanese Festival at Cowandilla Primary School. As the biggest Japanese festival in Adelaide, the day is filled with cultural performances, exhibitions, activities and food. Check out the super kawaii (translation: cute) bonsai stalls, origami learning stations and miniature train displays. Tasting Australia is our biennial opportunity to showcase the best we have to offer, with a massive week-long program of food discovery. Old Adelaide Goal Psychic Fair

The Old Adelaide Gaol Psychic Fair is guaranteed to be the spookiest event of the year. Hang out with the ghosts of Adelaide in a market set right within the gaol, with live music, food stands, healers, alternative medicine and of course psychic readers on hand. For an even spookier experience, take a tour through the deserted cells, the hanging tower and the graveyard. Try to spot some of the characters from the gaol’s grisly past – if you dare. Feed Your Face – Street Food Festival

It’s probably best to ditch the belt for this one!
