It’s also drizzled in lime and jalapeño vinaigrette, and can even come with your choice of egg, salmon or chicken. Need we say more?

From the woven basket lampshades to the wall of old-timey shutters, Charlie Dumpling has the whole “rustic charm” thing nailed. The lovely staff are also salad legends, and the Kuromitsu Cured Salmon option is the stuff Japanese dreams are made of, with soba noodles, radish, wasabi peas, ginger and miso dressing. A fiery treat to snack on while you admire the large lobster mural painted on the wall. We call him Pinchy!

This place is a big deal with health food fans, serving up everything from smashed avocado to specialty burgers. Today, however, we’re focusing on the Acai Bowl. That’s Coyo, granola, peanut butter, various berries, coconut water, and a dash of vanilla whey protein. Beautiful.

Try the “Nutrition Bomb”, with poached egg, greens, hummus, roast veg, nuts, seeds and sauerkraut. You can also add mushrooms, avocado and feta – and we’d highly recommend you do.
