The Vegie Bar

380 Brunswick Street Fitzroy

Just north of the city on the busy Brunswick Street is the iconic Vegie Bar. Vegie Bar has been serving its customers healthy and wholesome vegetarian dishes for several decades now, arriving well before the wave of health food venues that you’ll now find scattered through Melbourne.

Their mission is simple, to serve planet friendly dishes that nourish and satisfy. Vegie Bar makes vegetarian food accessible and also enjoyable, even for those who would typically choose meat over straight veg options. Vegans and those with food intolerances will also be taken care of too. The menu includes wholefood bowls plus wok and grill dishes, right through to vegie burgers and pizzas! Who said healthy, environmentally conscious eats couldn’t be delicious?

Open 11am – 10pm Sunday – Thursday, 11am – 10.30pm Fridays and Saturdays
