Adelaide’s best places to tick off your resolutions

Well, that’s another Christmas out the way. Now we can focus a little more on ourselves and how to tackle the year ahead…

Newman’s Nursery and Gardens

Tea Tree Gully

Newman’s Nursery has been keeping South Australia’s gardens blossoming with camellias, azaleas, conifers and countless other stunning flora since the mid-19th century. If you fancy the idea of injecting a little more verve and pizazz into your property in 2016, this venerable gardening titan has everything you need help your garden erupt into glorious life. A beautiful garden centre located just into the foothills of Tea Tree Gully. I needed some assistance in selecting some plants for my garden, the staff were more than happy to help and spend the time to make sure I was happy with the decisions and the plants selected. The customer service is excellent, they really do go above and beyond. – bhogg96

Noarlunga Centre

BodySmith is one of the friendliest gyms around, and the ideal choice for anyone actually looking to stick with the old ‘get fit’ resolution this year (tenth time lucky, as they say). The ‘fitness challenges’ are a great way to start off, as each one features a full nutrition program, body fat monitoring and engaging group exercise. Find out more

I’ve been going to Bodysmith since June 2015 and it’s been amazing. It’s not the “normal” gym, it’s much more, the staff are so knowledgeable with any question you throw at them and happy to help in any way they can, whether you want to just use the treadmill or are serious about working out no one jugdes you and it’s fantastic. It’s a great atmosphere – so glad I joined, it’s my “second family” – Carzz
