Pig Out With These 5 Epic Bacon Dishes In Perth
There simply aren’t words to do justice to bacon. It is a wonder that defies description. So we won’t even try. We’ll just tell you that these are some of the best places to get it in Perth. Go forth! Eat your bacon-loving hearts out!

Kinky Swell
It might sound like something you’d get if you took one of those “what’s my porn star name” tests, but Kinky Swell is actually a lovely little diner down in sandy Scarborough. They do one of the best crispy bacon rolls in the area, stuffed with fried egg, melted cheese and chipotle mayo. The roll itself is a toasted brioche bun, so you really couldn’t ask for anything more.

Johnny’s Burger Joint
Johnny’s Burgers is bloody marvellous. The venue itself is a like a fast food joint from heaven – spacious, comfy and spotlessly clean, with plenty of pretty things decorating the walls. The burgers are beautifully crafted and absolutely enormous, and it’s impossible to pick a favourite. Whatever you choose, however, make sure you accompany it with the cheese & bacon French fries. After all, those are the three essential food groups, right?

Aliment
West Leederville’s Aliment is a cafe is run by foodies for foodies, and its vibrant, creative menu is a real must-try. Case in point: the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Crumpets. Yea, we’re talking buttermilk-fried chicken breast with house-made crumpets, smoked paprika, fried egg, and (of course) maple bacon. It’s everything you never knew you needed – but after you’ve tried it once, we guarantee you’ll be back for more.

Tuck Shop Cafe
Hip, modern and highly inviting, Tuck Shop Cafe is one of Perth’s go-to brunch places. The coffee’s great, the service smiley and the food fantastic, with a wide range of options to suit everyone. Of course, if it’s bacon you’re after, you can’t go past the magnificent beef, bacon and cheddar pie. It’s a thing of beauty. We recommend taking along your vegetarian friends so you don’t have to share.

The Shipping Lanes
A recent addition to the North Fremantle food scene, The Shipping Lanes excels in cafe favourites and Asian-infused specials. The interior is super slick and stylish, but we doubt you’ll notice the décor once the Shipping Lane Breakfast has landed on your table. That’s toast, eggs, bacon, kransky sausage, tomatoes, haloumi, hash browns, beans, and avocado salad. Now that’s starting the day off right!
