Introducing Perth’s Ultimate Cocktail Itinerary
You know what’s better than cocktails? All-day cocktails. That’s why we’ve put together this little schedule of bars to hit up for Perth’s premier cocktail experience. Bottoms up!
Breakfast/Brunch

Gordon Street Garage
Coffee is a sensible way to start any day, and so is the cold-drip coffee negroni cocktail at Gordon Street Garage. This spacious, airy venue is a lovely spot to kick back for a drink and a bite, whether you fancy a gorgeous salmon omelette or a flaky house-made pastry. The staff will make sure you’re very well looked after, and don’t be surprised if you find yourself becoming a regular.
“Staff were so attentive and delightful. We were asked throughout the meal if we wanted more coffees and when they didn’t come out, staff realised and went to check on the order. The café has a very cool urban vibe, the food was ‘on trend’ without being pretentious… I’m a fan!” – AnonymousAccount
Lunch

The Globe
Our second cocktail is known as the “Mary Widow Fizz”, and it dwells amongst the leafy, pleasantly rustic surrounds of The Globe. This crisply refreshing bevvie mixes sloe gin, citrus juices, egg whites and soda, and should be just the thing to perk yourself up after a lovely lunch (the soft shell crab tacos with Asian slaw are not to be missed) spent admiring the wall murals and beautifully mosaiced bar.

Afternoon

Bib & Tucker
No cocktail list is complete without a good Bloody Mary, and we’re very big fans of the one served up at Big & Tucker. It combines their own special spice mix with horseradish, tomato, lemon, hot sauce and Ketel One vodka, and it packs a heck of a fiery punch. Grabbing a seat on the verandah and relaxing in the afternoon sun as you gaze out over the ocean – what could be better?
“Absolutely loved this place – great location, delicious eats and friendly staff. My friend and I ordered two completely different types of breakfasts – mine: the breakfast pizza with what seemed like a lot of meet, while my friend ordered the smashed avocado which looked so much healthier when they came out to our table! Anyways, both of the dishes we’re delicious!” – xbabydollx
Dinner

The Meatball Bar
You can’t do much better than a big plate of juicy meatballs (especially after a few cocktails), so we’re very thankful The Meatball Bar exists. Try the classic Italian meatballs with slow-cooked Napoli sauce, and afterwards, experience liquid dessert with a perfectly brewed Espresso Martini. That’s pure espresso coffee, vanilla syrup, vodka, and a wonderful Italian coffee liqueur. Delizioso!

Late Night

The Dominion League
It might sound like a futuristic sport from an 80s sci-fi film, but The Dominion League is actually a rather snazzy bar in Northbridge. The staff here are some of the most talented mixologists in town, and classy cocktails are their speciality. Order up a Honeycomb Old Fashioned, and immerse yourself in the deliciously dark and moody atmosphere – perfect for a late-night libation.
