Perth is full of amazing restaurants serving up mouth-watering cuisine. That said, it can be a little overwhelming when trying to select the best spot to go for a long lunch. Here are our favourite places that we know you’ll love too.
If you’re looking for a place that offers plenty of choice to cater for everyone’s taste, then Atrium won’t let you down. The buffet lunch is packed with seafood, Asian and European dishes, as well as antipasto. Some grilled pork medallions with diced maple glazed carrots and silverbeet will definitely make your tastebuds sing. Plus, the offerings are endless, so you can stay for as long as you like. Go on, live your best life!
“Best place ever to celebrate or just to hang out with family and friends. I went with my family to Atrium 3 months ago to celebrate our birthdays. They had a great range of seafoods that time and other kinds of foods and desserts. My daughter enjoyed her dessert treats. The service was great. The food were all delicious. We’ll be coming back anytime soon…” – Jayveem
If you’re looking for luxury, you’ll find it at Lamont’s. This place is actually a mansion built in the 1800s that’s been converted into a stylish restaurant. Inside, you’ll find tapas plates to share and a kitchen that’s open from noon till 10pm. That means you can keep ordering dishes for the longest lunch in history! If you get stuck on what to have, give the smoked duck breast with corned leg hash, swan valley figs and vincotto a try. You’ll be licking your lips for hours after your meal, trust us.

If you’re going out with a few friends, Bib & Tucker is the perfect spot. Not only do they have an unbeatable beachfront location, but they provide you with set share menus fit for a king. The restaurant has a buzzing yet friendly atmosphere, which is perfect for a chilled lunch or a long and lazy graze. Everything they serve is divine, but the 12-hour slow cooled lamb shoulder with crispy eggplant salad, sheep’s milk yoghurt and puffed grains is particularly excellent. Enjoy it while taking in the breathtaking views over the ocean.
“Absolutely loved this place – great location, delicious eats and friendly staff. My friend and I ordered two completely different types of breakfasts – mine: the breakfast pizza with what seemed like a lot of meet, while my friend ordered the smashed avocado which looked so much healthier when they came out ot our table! Anyways, both of the dishes we’re delicious! We were so full from them both, we actually were in struggle-town to finish it all! As for the coffee and fresh juice we ordered, they were both made well! It was a great morning here at Bib and Tucker.” – xbabydollx
Did someone mention elegant dining? Mr Walker is the restaurant for you. Along with eating freshly cooked dishes like Baked Goat Cheese with Sweet Potato & Sage Dauphinoise, you get to devour your meal on the pier. That’s a pretty good deal, especially as you get to enjoy both city and ocean views for as long as you wish. Alternatively, you can catch up with your mates over a few sharing plates and cool bevvies. Need we say more?
“Mister Walker is defintiley one to write home about! It has absolutely everything going for it from the food, the views, the service and the setting! Date night, breakfast with visitors or after work drinks would all go down a trat. Mister Walker has a real characater about the place that makes you want to keep coming back. Solid tip: try the seafood gumbo!” – snakethejake
There’s a tiny part of us that wanted to keep this place a secret for selfish reasons. Luckily for you, we’re not selfish. Plus, word has already got around that Authentic Bites is one of the best dumpling houses in town. We suspect that probably has something to do with their pan-fried and chicken dumplings. Anyway, there’s lots of other tasty bites to discover like noodle soup and fried pork ribs – but we really love those dumplings. Best of all, you can just keep ordering until you’re stuffed. So if you can’t get enough, it must just be the longest lunch ever…
