Cold weather getting you down? Then you need cheerful drinks! And they don’t get more cheerful than mulled wine and cider, so button up, head out, and give this lot a taste.
It might be known primarily as a super-hip gin bar, but Frisk also serves up some amazing cider. There’s a few options on the menu, but you’ll definitely want a taste of Henry Weston’s 2013 vintage apple cider – it’s the perfect blend of tangy and sweet. It’s the ideal drink to sip while you settle in and admire the graffiti-coated walls and trendy lighting, and try to decide which of the mouth-watering hotdogs you want to try first.
“If you like gin, this is the place in Perth to get it, nowhere else will you find the ever growing selection from around the world. They also have wine, beer, coffee/tea and a selection of bar snacks. with friendly engaging service, regular events/specials and a cosy atmosphere inside and out. It is certainly my number one spot for a non-pretentious drink.” – matteovinci

What’s the only thing better than mulled wine? Mulled wine by the fireplace, of course! And that’s exactly what you’ll get at The Cabin. This awesome venue is styled like a kind of alpine lodge, and it’s pretty much the perfect place to spend a winter evening. It’s incredibly cosy, with such comfy seating that you’ll never want to leave. And don’t even get us started on the food! Those buffalo meatballs… wow.
“Went to The Cabin on Sat night and loved it! Has a real cosy, lounge room feel to it as well as a great balcony to enjoy the views! The menu was great, with mostly shared options but some good substantial stuff as well. Great wine list and cocktails that were 11 bucks! Service was great, not too intrusive but always there when you needed them.” – perthrocks
A unique and colourful space, Lot Twenty is famed for its quirky design and talented chefs. There’s all sorts of seating both inside and out, ranging from wheeled tables to benches lined with plump cushions. Murals line the walls and the scent of fresh Aussie cuisine fills the air, and the mulled wine is a glorious mix of apple, orange and cinnamon. The Core pear cider isn’t half bad either!
