Sugar & Nice

It’s only been around a couple of years, but Sugar & Nice has already blossomed into a firm Inglewood favourite. The décor is as soft as the armchairs, and the cakes are clearly the product of truly passionate baking. Everything on the menu is incredibly tasty, but if you fancy cheesecake with a twist, go for a Baked Malted Cheesecake Jar. Blending smooth cheesecake filling with crunchy biscuit base and a torched meringue top, it’s just divine. Plus, everything’s better in jars!

“It’s great for catching up with a friend or friends for a coffee and cake which is what they are about. Quiet enough so you can have a conversation. A really good selection of cakes, muffins and sweet breads etc. You can have a very light lunch – toasted sandwich and I think the same at breakfast – cereal, toast. Open 7 – 5 Monday – Friday, 8 – 5 Saturday and 8 – 4 Sunday.” – Jamall

Chu Bakery

From the plump donuts to the artisan breads to the fresh, high-grade coffee, it’s hard to pick just one reason to visit Chu Bakery. This time, however, we’ve got to go with the Lemon Basil Cheesecake. It’s a velvety slice of cool, refreshing indulgence, and light enough to enjoy on a hot summer’s day. And it looks just as good as it tastes. In fact, we almost don’t want to stick our fork in. Almost.

The desserts are expertly crafted, beautifully presented and utterly delicious, and the scrumptious Berry Cheesecake makes for a very fun time indeed. Rich and luxurious, we guarantee you won’t be able to stop at once slice.

“Really good quality cakes and bread. I love the cheesecakes and lemon tarts. It’s reputation is so good that restaurants around Perth sometimes specify that their bread is from Lawleys.” – arrow

Everyone loves cheesecake, and everyone loves Baileys. Naturally, it was only a matter of time before someone decided to combine them, and the result is pretty damn magnificent. “We had the Caramel Maltezer cake for my nephews birthday. This was our first time trying anything from here and we were very happy with the cake. It was very tasty & moist. I look forward to trying more of their selection :)” – Annie_A
