Grab your crucifix and fill your hip flask with holy water! We’re off to find some hideous Halloween merriment on the dark streets of Perth. Who’s up for a scare or two?
Halloween is the night when alternative gets mainstream, and the basement floor of Gilkison’s Dance Studio plays host to the heaviest, hardest, most intense bash in Perth. Incursion Halloween features fire performers, cage dancers and tons more, all to a grinding alt metal and dark electro soundtrack courtesy of guest DJ Sin Quirin (Ministry’s guitarist). It’s gonna be wild.
“Offers great adult social and lesson style classes. Very good and patient teachers who want you to succeed at learning to dance. Styles offered are ballroom and Latin. Social dance is one of their best offerings and great fun.” – ozwine007
For one night only, Murray Street nightclub Ambar is transformed into a sci-fi nightmare realm of horrifying proportions. Expect supernatural mischief, twisted experiments and a host of diabolical characters, and it’s up to you to discover just what on earth (or elsewhere) is going on in the basement. As for the dress code? “The stranger the better”, of course!
“If I could move in, and live here forever – I would. Awesome breaks – Best club in Perth. Love it!” – Meli_B
Oh look, it seems hell has run out of room again (maybe it’s time for some expansion, eh, Satan?) and spilled over into Northbridge’s Air Nightclub. Their all-night zombie extravaganza promises pumping tunes, amazing Halloween décor and great prizes for the best-dressed partiers, so prepare yourself for a bloody feast of undead madness.
“For the younger crowd but does have some good theme nights.” – Rambo69
Geisha claims to be the most decadent nightclub in Perth, and we’re inclined to believe them. These guys know how to throw a party, and their ‘Halloween Grave Rave’ is the perfect case in point. The superstar DJ line-up includes Tachee Vs Dusty, Saul Bliss Vs Baux and Ace Basik Vs Paul Scott, with special deals on tasty Halloween-themed shots and cocktails running until midnight.
“Safe venue, great staff, awesome events and friendly door staff. The upmarket feel will set comfortably in while you pay your door charge. Nothing sleezy, no homophobes, no trouble.” – Jamison Parker
It’s Halloween, so we need at least one Rocky Horror-themed fiesta to see us safely through the night. Fortunately, Mint Nightclub is putting on a doozie! This Northbridge institution is pulling out all the stops to recreate the atmosphere of everyone’s favourite mental horror musical, so swing by and get ready to sing along to all your favourites.
