Bridgeway Hotel

Pooraka

Mixing a restaurant, two bars, a nightclub and more, Bridgeway Hotel is a sprawling leviathan of fun. The Front Bar is where the sport’s at, and its smooth, wood-panel design forms a lovely setting in which to catch a game, shoot some pool, or try your luck on the horses. Seven screens and a TAB terminal should keep you busy, and the ‘Parmageddon’ challenge is not for the faint of stomach.

“What struck me even more was that when we came to order our meals we where handed two menus. One contained what you would expect to get from a pub, which the other was two pages of schnitzel topping. In fact I have never seen so many different schnitzel toppings in my life, but I suspect that this is something that is starting to appear in Adelaide.” – David Sarkies

Brighton Metro Hotel

Brighton

Many Brighton pubs can claim to show live sports, but it’s the little details that separate the best from the rest. Little details like $6 pints all day, every day! That’s exactly what you get at the Brighton Metro’s inviting sports bar, and it’s the perfect liquid accompaniment to watching the Crows kick some arse. You’ve also got the gaming room and Charlie’s Diner to visit, don’t forget!

Tucked inside its eponymous hotel, Rezz Bar is a comfy, laid-back spot to meet for a drink, a bite and some proper entertainment. 33 Lottery and TAB machines line the walls, live music kicks off every Friday night, and both SKY Racing and FOX Sports are available to showcase everything from boxing to basketball. The recent change in management has worked wonders, so head down sometime!

“I love The Rezz! It’s fun for a night out and has something for everyone. I especially love the cafe for coffee and catch ups with other mums in the day. It’s also a great place to grab a take away and head over to beautiful Thordon Park. The food is so good too!!!” – delishcoffee

Watermark Glenelg

Glenelg North

Watermark’s Sportstrak Bar is quite possibly the only sports bar in Adelaide that does a meat raffle on Fridays, which we reckon makes it worthy of inclusion alone. Then, of course, there’s also midweek poker, Monday night schnitzel (just $10!), TAB, Keno and Lottery facilities, and tons of live sports aired throughout the week. Oh, and the mirrored ceiling is kind of mesmerising.

“My favourite pub/bar in Glenelg the best food service and atmosphere you’ll find” – Steve Brant
