A charming old venue, the Bridgeview’s recent makeover has brought it into the 21st century with style. It’s now a modern gastropub extraordinaire, and the greenery-strewn roof courtyard is a fine setting for sun-baked basking and fancy beers. The AstroTurfed flooring is a lovely touch, and a large sharing platter of herb-crumbed mozzarella always goes down a treat. But be warned; you can’t eat just one…

There are few finer sights in Sydney (if not the world) than the harbour in summertime, and the Glenmore is the perfect place to take it all in. The views from the rooftop encompass all of Circular Quay and The Rocks. Well, the rooftop bar, we should say. You don’t have to Spiderman your way up the side of the building or anything.
