Ease into the weekend in style at The Workers in Balmain. Open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, this bustling bar is an excellent spot for drinks after work or late night sessions spent with friends. Extended opening hours (up until 3am on Fridays and Saturdays) appeal to the late night crowd when many other venues nearby have long closed, however early birds won’t miss out on all of the fun, with Happy Hour from 5 – 7pm on Fridays.
Level 3, 33-35 Darlinghurst Road Potts Point
For great tunes and good times head on up to Sweethearts Rooftop above Sydney’s popular Potts Point Hotel. This laidback bar has a cool and casual Mexican vibe to it, serving up a mean mix of Tequila, tacos and other Mex delights.
