Viva la Vodka

Fortitude Valley

Seems like a good place to start, no? Viva la Vodka most certainly lives up to its name, serving up a strong range of fresh, original cocktails. It’s a tough choice, but we’d probably have to recommend a tasty little number called the ‘Milli Vanillia’, made up of Absolut Vanilia, spiced rum, gin and grenadine. It packs a hell of a punch, and is definitely one for those in the mood to party.

The End

West End

The End is a small, hip-rustic sort of bar that’s becoming very popular indeed, and not without good reason! The cocktails here are fantastic, and in the name of vodka we’d recommend you order up a pitcher of Red Siam Square immediately. It’s Belvedere vodka with various chilli, ginger and lime mixers, and it’s nothing short amazing.

“The End bar is a cute little bar literally at the end of West End. They do amazing cocktails and beers. Also have a gyoza night on Mondays. This is a great place for a first date!” – sarah0211

Elixir Rooftop Bar

Fortitude Valley

A leafy retreat from the hustle and bustle of ground-floor life, Elixir is like your own little oasis in the clouds. Well, not quite the clouds, but close enough. It’s like a rooftop garden summerhouse, and the Elixir Fresh Market Martini (a blend of Belvedere and fresh-picked market fruits) is the perfect beverage to accompany the cityscape views.

“I love this place! It’s beautifully decorated, quiet but trendy, has lovely big canopy seats to sit in, or really cool looking granite tables. It has a bit of a garden vibe and it’s hard to believe you are right next to a main street while you are up there. One of my favourites, only issue is that it doesn’t have an elevator, but I suppose it’s not their fault that I am lazy.” – V_jones
