Would not recommend at all assessors just let everyone copy answers for test off of powerpoints and sends these people out into the field. Friends of buisiness get to sit in on courses for free whilst everyone else is paying $1000s of dollars and because they are friends get guaranteed jobs at the end of it with no experience. For example they have no qualifications do a week of training to get advanced rigging then get guaranteed mining shutdown work. Highly dangerous and insulting to those who worked hard to make that money and some people get it handed to them. Also still waiting for invoices and tickets after 3 months.
I have done several High Risk courses through a number of organizations and found most of them to be hit and miss. Trainer not prepared enough, not enough time on practical assessments, confusing theory where you are just reading out of a book and don't get thorough (or correct) answers when asking questions. Needless to say I never felt really confident to be able to go out on site after the course and say I amread more
