A Little Luxury has rather a poor and appalling customer service. They outsourced their delivery to Startrack and did not bother to follow up closely with the delivery process. I ordered from them recently and Startrack did not delivered the product properly. They merely place a collection card and expect the recipient to retrieve it themselves from a local Post Office. Imagine that they are expecting a bulky gift to be self-collected. When asked A Little Luxury to help, they just wash their hands and remove all responsibilities. Did not even apologize or consider helping to contact Startrack to try another round of delivery. Terrible services in my opinion. This will be the first and the last time I will be buying from the them.
Item was specifically requested to be delivered on the final working day of a very valued employee. It wasn’t and communication from the vendor wasn’t the best. Eventually it arrived a week later with the blame placed on the delivery company. I had to pay the extra cost of forwarding the gift to my employee and the vendor was most apologetic without accepting any responsibility for the failure. They seem like nice people but they’re service is lacking.
Customer has now left the same review on at lest 5 different review sites. Our reply was as follows:
Hi Robert, I can see that you recently placed 2 orders with us. The first was delivered by StarTrack Premium on the morning it was requested. The second delivered by StartTrack Road Express was late. StarTrack’s road express service experienced some problems with the tracking of parcels that week. We had a small number of parcels caught up in this mess and it made it impossible for us to determine what was going on with the delivery your second order. I can see from our customer service notes that we initially offered you the choice of either a full refund or to reship the order via StarTrack Premium, however shortly afterwards and prior to issuing the refund StarTrack advised us that the package had been located and was delivered. I'm really sorry StarTrack let you down on this second order. This was a very rare problem and was totally beyond our control.
We were very pleased with the speed and prompt delivery of our clients Xmas packages. The whole process was smooth and professional, with a confirmation email once each package was delivered and signed for. This included country deliveries with only a two day frame to work with. Definitely will use ‘A Little Luxury’ again and high recommend their services!
