Was really dissapointed with out visit to this store. We have tried other places with Zumbo desserts before and throughly enjoed it but this time it was a let down. The macarons tasted like they were old and the chocolate ganache we got was literally just chocolate ganache, nothing exciting about it. A little different to the one down in Balmain itself. This one has room for you to sit, it's the actual bakery where the make this yummy stuff. Beautiful breads and macarons and desserts, lovely staff and very very reasonable prices. Can't praise this place enough.
Zumbo's just got bitter... I used to visit Zumbo's at least every couple of weeks. Not anymore. The curry chicken pies are fantastic, good selection of pastries, macaroons and cakes all of excellent quality. Coffee is a bit ordinary, very small service area so it's often cramped inside. Service is good but there is often a wait due to it's popularity. Vibrant little place.
