An Exercise and Sport Scientist completes a 3 year full time bachelor degree at a recognised University.
An Exercise and Sports Scientist acquires a strong academic base of skills and knowledge to prescribe exercise as a means for:

- Optimal movement patterns
- Bodybuilding and fitness modelling
- Correcting abnormal biomechanics
- Correcting muscle imbalances

The degree comprises of 24 individual units covering biological science, mechanical bases of exercise, health fitness and performance, psychology of sport and physical activity, functional anatomy, growth motor development and ageing, research and ethics, programming resistance training, exercise metabolism, neurophysiology, exercise testing and prescription, biomechanics, exercise physiology, health promotion, nutrition and exercise, health and disease, exercise rehabilitation and professional experience.
