American Candy Stand Cupcakes

There are not enough words that mean 'BIG' to describe the average portion sizes here. Here's a few: They serve COLOSSAL sized burgers; ENORMOUS slabs of cake; GIGANTIC hot dogs; SUBSTANTIAL cupcakes; and a MASSIVE range of American treats including soft drinks and candy. I have to say that I honestly could not finish the slice of banana custard cake - but thankfully they were happy to give me a takeaway container and I had it for brekky the next day! A couple of minor negatives - firstly, although the atmosphere is really cool with design just like an American diner, it's a tiny place with seating for only about 10 people and so if there's no room then you're pretty stuck (and even if there is room, you'll share elbow space with other diners). Also the price isn't all that cheap, though as I might have mentioned the serving size is...well, the only word big enough is SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS ;-) #reviewtowin

Opted for a lunch option here instead of my usual cupcake hit when coming by American Candy Stand. Got me the hotdog and it was yummy! Would love to try a burger next time!!!

That's the thing with me on Tuesday nights.. I'm right around the corner for a couple hours and have direct access to come here! Temptation always gets me! I introduced a friend this time round and she ordered the S'mores cupcake - not bad at all she said just a tad bit dry - and when I had a taste I thought so too. The Red Velvet donut cupcake I had though was wow! Tasted exactly like a donut. So thick and filling though.

Every Tuesday nights are going to be a struggle for me now because I'll be right around the corner from this sweet tooth's heaven. Came by last week and just couldn't resist in getting some American chocolates and twinkies. Seriously give this place a try if you haven't yet and love you some sugar! ;)
