Great Pizzas, amazing dining experience. I don't know what happened to BearaS, but ours was not the same. We live just down the road and order takeaway once a month. I highly recommend taking the menu back with you after you go there. The family pizza is absolutely MASSIVE.
We read the review from "BearaS" when anticipating a dining experience at Amici's so was a bit concerned about what to expect, although we had heard that it was worth visiting. Cutting the long story short...we have been back to the Cafe many times now and have had numerous take-away orders for pizza. The pizzas have a thin crisp base and they use fresh ingredients on top. We are sold on these pizza's as being the best we have had for a long, long, time!
After seeing this reastaraunt filled with guests we decided to try it. Having a small child we opted for the takeaway option. When I called - without a menu, the person answering the phone was less than helpful. He did not want to give me the menu over the phone and only told me of one pizza available - the special. When asked if he had a supreme he declind and told us we could try a chicken pizza. He did not go into details of what was on the chicken pizza and sounded frustrated with my questions. He said he could make us a supreme. When we got the pizza the toppings were thin and the supreme was suspiciously like the special we were not keen on. The pizza was ok but nothing special. We will not be getting a pizza from them again. It was just too hard!
