This has to be the best boarding cattery in Perth. I have been a customer for several years and my cats love it there. All the staff are wonderful. Each cat has a large indoor unit with a ladder, shelf, basket, toys, food etc all provided. The feature that I really like is that my cats have direct access, through a cat flap, to an outdoor grass run - with a chair and climbing branches provided. It is good to know that they are free to go outside while I am away. The cattery is in a lovely, safe, quiet rural location just a few kilometres off the freeway south and it is amazing value for money at $11 per night.
I have been disappointed with the attitude of one the girls at Aristocat. We made a prior arrangement to come pick up our cats with 5 or 10min after the closing time and on the day we gave the girls a call we will indeed be 5 min late. The girl told us she was going to close the door and that there was no need for us to come around and hang up on us just after telling us that we will have to pay for an extra night! She was very rude... such a shame cause it is a great place for the cats and the other girl is adorable. So in the end, we left our cats there for 10 days and didn't even know how they did because of that grumpy lady we didn't dare asking! They will not see our cats again.
This customer telephoned the cattery from Perth Airport at the cattery's closing time. She asked that the cattery remain open for her to collect her cat. Perth airport is approximately an hour's drive fro the cattery. The staff member on duty explained politely to the customer that she had family commitments and that she would be unable to stay at the cattery for the additional hour required. The customer became irate and hung up the telephone. I am the business owner and I believe that the staff member involved acted correctly and courteously at all times.
