Gorgeous location bordered by Parramatta River and Blaxland Riverside Park. However, our babycinos and coke spider were nowhere as impressive as the location. It looked like the babycinos had been made a while ago as the froth had deflated, and the spider that was brought out was a glass with a melted scoop of ice cream and a can of coke.
Note that there is a 10% weekend and public holiday surcharge. There is a nearby car park but it can get very busy as the park is popular, particularly on weekends and during school holidays.
The Armory Wharf Cafe is a great spot for young families. Located right between Blaxland Riverside Park (otherwise known as heaven for kids) and Parramatta River, it's a great choice for a post playtime meal. The menu is pretty extensive, and they cater for children. The cafe is equipped with high chairs, children's plates and cutlery. The food is great, but don't expect it to blow your mind.
This cafe is in an amazing location, right by the river and right next to the most incredible playground I think I've ever been to! The coffee was good, and the food was pretty nice, too, but not amazing or edgy. Definitely worth a visit for those with kinds in tow - just make sure you make allowance for a long stay at the playground!

While taking the order with a special request, the waitress suggested she was not sure if it would be possible "but will check". Even repeated my order with the special request. When the food turned up we realised that they had ignored the request, so I took the dish back to the waitress, who changed her stance and suggested that she had informed me that it would not be possible. When I went to pay for our food, they had got the tables mixed up and were charging me for another table. I reminded them of the mistake with my order and the lady at the front suggested "menu says no modifications to items" which I did not challenge but on returning home noticed that their online menu (same as in store) does not say anything to that effect. Very poor attitude as I also noticed the lady ...read more
Frankly disappointed. The children's chicken was over cooked, so was my wife's fish, the pastry on the pie floater was dry and hard, the room so noisy I could not hear the person sitting opposite me. The calamari was good. Great location, lots of potential but you need to fix the noise and remove or change some things on the menu.
