Prepared for New Adventure since 1983! A Chartered Formation of Scouts Queensland 2012-2016.The Aim of Scouting is to encourage the physical, intellectual, social, spiritual and emotional development of young people so that they take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens, and as members of their local, national and international communities.
The Principles of Scouting as identified by the Founder, Lord Baden-Powell, are that Scouts should serve God, act in consideration of the needs of others and develop and use their abilities to the betterment of themselves and their families and the communities in which they live.
Around the world in over 161 countries we have over 30 million members, catering for kids from 6 to 26 years of age. We are the largest youth organisation in the world by far. Wherever you travel around the country or world, your son or daughter can join in activities where they are!
Ashmore Scout Group caters for the following sections:
Joey Scouts - 6 and 7 years
Cub Scouts - 8 to 10 years
Scouts - 11 to 14 years
Venturer Scouts - 15 to 17 years
