I called Audio Vision Services to fix my Pendo (from Target) TV which had conveniently died 3 months after the standard 1 year warranty had expired. I had called Pendo, whose foreign call centre employee had told me to use the yellow pages to find someone to service the tv. Thanks Pendo, for the helpful advice! I got on to Klaus from Audio Vision Services, who told me he couldn't fix the tv because he didn't deal with Pendo products (not surprised - he runs a reputable business), but that he could advise me about the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and their fairly recent changes to warranties. Becuase of Klaus, I was able to go equipped with this knowledge to Target and request they do something - nek minut, I walk out with a new (different) tv (which has a 3 year warranty!)! Thanks Klaus - I appreciate your honesty and your advice.
